The Centre de Meteorologie Spatiale (CMS) has produced a
satellite-based series of images as part of ASTEX.  This
product is based on observations by the geostationary METEOSAT 
and the AVHRR aboard the NOAA 11 and 12  polar orbiters.

There are four main results: sea surface temperature,
surface solar irradiance, cloud classification, and downward
longwave flux.
