Description

The CAL_LID_L15_Exp-ValStage1-V3-51 expedited data product is a continuous segment of calibrated, geolocated, cloud-cleared, and spatially averaged profiles of lidar attenuated backscatter and aerosol extinction. These profiles are derived via a synthesis of the CALIPSO Lidar Level 1B profile and Lidar Level 2 5km aerosol profile products with the Lidar Level 2 Vertical Feature Mask product. This Lidar Level 1.5 expedited data product is derived using expedited versions of these levels 1B and level 2 data products and files are 90 minutes in duration. The version of this product was changed from 3-50 to 3-51 to account for a change in the operating system of the CALIPSO production cluster.
