NASA Earthdata Forum Announces Upcoming "Office Hours" on 08/17/22

Aug. 16, 2022, 7:06 p.m.

Join subject matter experts from NASA's Earth science Distributed Active Archive Centers for an Earthdata Forum "office hours" to be held on August 17, 2022. During this session, our experts will assist users with their data access questions and problems. We hope to "see" you online!

Several of NASA's Earth science Distributed Active Archive Centers (DAACs), who are partners on NASA's Earthdata Forum (https://forum.earthdata.nasa.gov), are collaborating on an “office hours” session on August 17, 2022, to assist users with data access questions and problems. So, if wget has got you down, or if your THREDDS are tangled, or if your data subset is both in the wrong place and at the wrong time, DAAC data specialists will be standing by to help with a fast response time to any questions that are asked. (If you cannot participate during the office hours time period, feel free to post your questions now and the experts will respond to them.)

Participating DAACs are NASA's Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC DAAC), Global Hydrometeorology Resource Center (GHRC DAAC), Level-1 and Atmosphere Archive and Distribution System DAAC (LAADS DAAC), Land Processes DAAC (LP DAAC), Ocean Biology DAAC (OB DAAC), and Oak Ridge National Laboratory DAAC (ORNL DAAC). In addition to the DAACs, the Global Master Change Directory (GCMD) will also be available to answer your questions.

The Earthdata Forum office hours on Data Access will take place on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, from 1-3 PM EDT (17:00 to 19:00 UTC). Before putting a question on the forum, it is necessary to register and acquire an Earthdata login (if you have not registered before).

To register, go to the Earthdata Forum home page, click on “Login”, then click the “Register” button on the Earthdata Login page. See the General User Guide for additional information on features like setting your favorite tags and thanking posts.
