The Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC) has published a researcher profile on Dr. Michael Behrenfeld, Chief Scientist and overall Principal Investigator of the North Atlantic Aerosols and Marine Ecosystems Study (NAAMES). The North Atlantic Aerosols and Marine Ecosystems Study (NAAMES) brought together a diverse team of experts to study marine aerosol-cloud-climate interactions. As Chief Scientist, Dr. Behrenfeld explored how plankton blooms depend on the environment and how they impact the atmosphere.
