Project: NAAMES

The Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC) has published a researcher profile on Dr. Richard Moore, Deputy Project Scientist of the North Atlantic Aerosols and Marine Ecosystems Study (NAAMES). The North Atlantic Aerosols and Marine Ecosystems Study (NAAMES) brought together a diverse team of experts to study marine aerosol-cloud-climate interactions. Dr. Moore played a pivotal role in the development and implementation of the NAAMES airborne sampling strategy as well as in the coordination of NAAMES analysis efforts to improve understanding of plankton-aerosol-cloud relationships.
Researcher profiles at the ASDC help users to learn about the individuals involved in the collection of the data archived at the ASDC. The ASDC has published another researcher profile on NAAMES Chief Scientist Mike Behrenfeld as a part of a recent StoryMap created about NAAMES. The data from NAAMES can be explored further on the ASDC website.
